What is the value of the contributions made by the spouses to the other spouse after the separation?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Y.Z. v A.C, 2019 BCSC 1564 (CanLII):

The valuation of contributions post-separation is not determined by the funds expended on family property. Rather it is determined by the increase in value beyond market trends due to the work carried out and considered in the context of reapportionment (see: Jaszczewska v. Kostanski, 2016 BCCA 286 at paras. 39-44).
