I see no merit in pursuing this point any further. The police officer put a tick mark in the box on the notice of prohibition, beside the words, “215(3) Drugs.” I think that entry by itself is some evidence that the officer made the decisions necessary to the exercise of his authority. There is some support for making this inference, in Taylor v. Superintendent of Motor Vehicles 2004 BCCA 641, at para. 16. When taken together with the statements in the officer’s written report, the inference is even stronger.
