The difficulty in this case is in the assessment of the efforts the plaintiff has made to contribute to her own support. I doubt that the plaintiff will achieve anything like full self-sufficiency anytime soon, if ever. I am mindful of the observations of Madam Justice McLachlin in Moge v. Moge 1992 CanLII 25 (SCC), [1992] 43 R.F.L. (3d) 345 at 399:
