What is the standard of review for a spousal support order?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from F.C.W. v. B.E.W, 2005 ABCA 33 (CanLII):

The standard of review of a spousal support order or a decision not to award spousal support is one of great deference. A court will not intervene absent an error in principle, a significant misapprehension of the evidence, or unless the decision is clearly wrong: Hickey v. Hickey 1999 CanLII 691 (SCC), [1999] 2 S.C.R. 518.
