Is there any material error in the division of matrimonial property?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from M.D. v. H.D., 1982 ABCA 349 (CanLII):

I am not persuaded that there was in this case any material error in the division of the matrimonial property. There was, on the contrary, a careful review of all of the relevant factors leading to the final exercise of discretion. In my view Mazurenko v. Mazurenko (supra) does not stand for the proposition that to devote the income derived from capital assets to family use means in every case that inflationary increases in those capital assets will be evenly distributed.
