Is the evidence insufficient to support a defendant's convictions for conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder or street terrorism?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Brambila, G046681 (Cal. App. 2015):

Defendant contends the evidence was insufficient to support his convictions for conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder or street terrorism. In reviewing sufficiency of the evidence claims, we do not reweigh the evidence or assess the credibility of witnesses, but examine the entire record and draw all reasonable inferences from the record in favor of the judgment to determine whether there is reasonable and credible evidence from which a reasonable trier of fact could find the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. (People v. Albillar (2010) 51 Cal.4th 47, 60.) We conclude there is.
