The law with respect to the duty of Insurance Agents is as set out in Fletcher v. Manitoba Public Insurance Company (1990), 1990 CanLII 59 (SCC), 3 S.C.R. 191. This duty includes the requirement to meet the contractual obligation to the client and not to be negligent.
