Additionally, the trial court implicitly found father's explanation for the delay either was not credible or was not reasonable. "We do not substitute our judgment for the credibility determinations of the trial court." (People v. Oldham (2000) 81 Cal.App.4th 1, 9.) On this record, we also conclude the trial court acted well within its discretion in determining that father's explanation was not reasonable. Father offered no evidence that mother threatened police intervention if he contacted her regarding their son's medical bills.
