The allegations of the applicant here are much more analogous to what occurred in Volken v. Volken, 2002 BCSC 426, where assets were stripped out of a company in which the wife had an interest and placed into corporate vehicles beyond her control. Hood J. concluded that the recipient corporations and entities were proper parties and should be added to the family law proceeding, holding that it was just and convenient to deal with those claims in the family law proceeding.
