Lahti v. Chateauvert, 2019 BCSC 1081, was an action in trespass. The defendant had hired a contractor to cut down 14 trees on the plaintiff’s property. The defendant asserted that he had the consent of the plaintiff to do so. The plaintiff denied that consent had been given.
