This regulation was repealed in 2016 following Allard v. Canada[1], which declared the MMPR unjustly infringed the plaintiff’s section 7 Charter rights. The MMPR was replaced by the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations, 2016, SOR/2016-230 in August 2016.
