Does a reduction in support payments apply when the payor husband is receiving long-term disability benefits?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from N.R.G. v. G.R.G., 2017 BCSC 478 (CanLII):

In Bobyn v. Bobyn, 2014 BCSC 1441, the court made reference to an earlier variation (reduction) of support payments when the payor husband had some mental health issues and was unable to continue his employment as a pharmacist but, rather, received long-term disability benefits. That order had provided that the reduction in support would only be in place for so long as the payor was receiving long-term disability benefits. The order also required the payor to forthwith advise the payee of any change in his employment status, i.e., any return to employment.
