Alexi provides customers with a secure Legal Intelligence Platform (the “Platform”) that enables legal teams to orchestrate firm-specific workflows, automate high-effort legal tasks, and surface actionable insights. The Platform is designed to align with each firm’s data, processes, and infrastructure, ensuring adoption, scalability, and measurable impact across practice areas (the
“Services”).
This privacy policy describes the manner in which we may collect, use and disclose your personal information in the course of providing the Services to you and/or your employer (i.e., our customer), when you visit our website located at https://www.alexi.com/ (the “Website”), or when you otherwise interact with us.

When you register for and use the Platform, Alexi collects and uses your personal information primarily on behalf of and in the course of providing the Services to you or your employer. When doing so, we are a service provider to you or your employer, and you or your employer remain responsible, and are directly accountable, for managing and protecting your personal information. In certain limited contexts, we may collect personal information from you on our own behalf, such as in connection with visits to our Website, job applications, and the sending of marketing communications.
Information we process on behalf of our customers
- Register for the Platform: When you or your employer (i.e., our customer) provides us with your name, email address, and firm name (if applicable), we use this information to contact you to provide you with a hyperlink to register for and log onto the Platform. When you register, we use the email address provided by you or your employer, and collect your first name, last name and a password that you create. We use this information to create a user login for you that enables you to access and use the Platform.
- Use of the Platform: We collect any information you input or upload when using the Platform which could include confidential or personal information pertaining to a legal matter such as medical or financial records, deposition or discovery documents, etc. We collect and use this information on you or your employer’s behalf to assist you or your employer.
- Information collected through the use of our Services: If customers choose to upload personal information about their own end users, our customers are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws when collecting, using, or disclosing personal information through the Services, including by providing and obtaining all necessary notices and consents. Information we collect or generate is treated and retained in accordance with our contractual commitments to our customers. We rely on our customers to comply with applicable privacy laws when collecting, using, and disclosing personal information through the Services and in the Platform. Information we process on our own behalf
- Marketing Communications: We may send you newsletters, offers, promotions, and updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each email. Alternatively, you can opt out of receiving email marketing communications by contacting us using the contact information provided in the “Contact Us” section below. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.
- Careers: In connection with a job application or related inquiry, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself (such as that contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials). We use this information for the purpose of processing and responding to your application for current and future career opportunities.
- Events: If you attend one of our events or visit a booth at an event, we may collect business contact information such as your first and last name, company name, work email address and phone number. We collect this information so that we can communicate with you about the event and contact you about future events.

Where a disclosure of personal information is required by law and it is personal information for which one of our customers is responsible, we will promptly notify our customer prior to complying with such requirements (unless legally prohibited from doing so) and co-operate with our customer’s instructions in responding to same.
- Sale of Business: We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of Alexi or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

SAFEGUARDS AND RETENTION
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures designed to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure.
