5 The respondent now argues that the matter of interim maintenance is at an end because I have made a final order dealing with maintenance. In Boznick v. Boznick [1993] 76 B.C.L.R. (2d) 202, Huddart J. reviewed the changes brought about by the wording of the Divorce Act [1985] and decided that an order for interim maintenance is not exhausted by the granting of a decree of divorce as it was under the preceding Divorce Act. In the case at bar however I have dealt with the issue of final spousal support and her judgment would suggest that the interim order is at an end and no variation or amendment can be made to it.
