In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 21(2)(a) of the Pension Act, the onus is on an applicant for a military pension to establish on a balance of probabilities, that he or she suffers from a disability, and that this disability arose out of, or was directly connected with his or her military service: Boisvert v.
