The factors to consider when awarding a management fee are: 1. evidence that management assistance is in fact necessary; 2. evidence that investment advice is in fact necessary; and 3. evidence as to the cost of such services (Mandzuk v. Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, 1988 CanLII 16 (SCC), [1988] 2 S.C.R. 650 at 651).
